Conversation:
generally the goings out and in of social intercourse (Eph 2:3; 4:22; R.V., "manner of life"); one's deportment or course of life. This word is never used in Scripture in the sense of verbal communication from one to another (Psa 50:23; Hbr 13:5). In Phl 1:27 and Phl 3:20, a different Greek word is used. It there means one's relations to a community as a citizen, i.e., citizenship.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
