(1) One of the brethren of Jesus (Mr 6:3; in Mt 13:55 the Greek is "Joseph," and the Revised Version (British and American) so renders).
(2) A son of Mary, perhaps identical with (1) (Mt 27:56; Mr 15:40,47).
