Fresh:
"new" (in respect of time, as distinct from kainos, "new," in respect of quality), is translated "fresh" in the RV of Mat 9:17; Mar 2:22; Luk 5:38, with reference to wineskins.
See NEW.
Note: Glukus, "sweet," is used in Jam 3:11, 12 (in this verse, AV, "fresh," RV, "sweet," as in both elsewhere); Rev 10:9, 10.
See SWEET.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
