"to rear, feed, nourish," is translated by the verb "to nourish" in Jam 5:5 (of luxurious living); Rev 12:14 (of God's care of Israel against its enemies); so Rev 12:6, RV (AV, "feed"); in Act 12:20, RV, "was fed" (AV, "was nourished").
