Azzur:
az'-ur (azzur, "helpful"):
(1) The father of Hananiah, a false prophet of Gibeon in the days of Zedekiah (Jer 28:1ff).
(2) One of those who, with Nehemiah, sealed the covenant on the return from Babylon (Ne 10:17).
(3) The father of Jaazaniah, "one of" the princes of the people who gave wicked counsel to the city of Jerusalem (Eze 11:1f). the King James Version has "Azur" for (1) and (3), but the Hebrew form of (3) is azur.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
