[Rom 4:16 ESV] 16 That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring--not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

[1Co 1:31 ESV] 31 so that, as it is written, "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord."

[Rom 4:9, 22 ESV] 9 Is this blessing then only for the circumcised, or also for the uncircumcised? For we say that faith was counted to Abraham as righteousness. ... 22 That is why his faith was "counted to him as righteousness."

[Gal 3:6 ESV] 6 just as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness"?

[Jas 2:23 ESV] 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness"--and he was called a friend of God.

[Gen 15:6 ESV] 6 And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness.

[Tit 3:8 ESV] 8 The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.

[Rom 11:6 ESV] 6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

[Deu 9:4-5 ESV] 4 "Do not say in your heart, after the LORD your God has thrust them out before you, 'It is because of my righteousness that the LORD has brought me in to possess this land,' whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is driving them out before you. 5 Not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart are you going in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God is driving them out from before you, and that he may confirm the word that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

[Rom 3:22 ESV] 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:

[Jhn 6:29 ESV] 29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."

[Psa 32:1-2 ESV] 1 A Maskil of David. Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man against whom the LORD counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

[2Co 5:19 ESV] 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

[Rom 3:30 ESV] 30 since God is one--who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

[Rom 4:3 ESV] 3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness."

[Gen 17:10-11 ESV] 10 This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you.

[Rom 4:12 ESV] 12 and to make him the father of the circumcised who are not merely circumcised but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

[Luk 19:9 ESV] 9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham.

[Gal 3:16 ESV] 16 Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, "And to offsprings," referring to many, but referring to one, "And to your offspring," who is Christ.

[Heb 6:15, 17 ESV] 15 And thus Abraham, having patiently waited, obtained the promise. ... 17 So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath,

[Heb 7:6 ESV] 6 But this man who does not have his descent from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.

[Heb 11:9, 17 ESV] 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. ... 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son,

[Rom 9:8 ESV] 8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring.

[Act 13:32 ESV] 32 And we bring you the good news that what God promised to the fathers,

[Gen 17:4-6 ESV] 4 "Behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of a multitude of nations. 5 No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. 6 I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make you into nations, and kings shall come from you.

[Gal 3:17-18 ESV] 17 This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. 18 For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.

[Rom 7:7, 10-25 ESV] 7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, "You shall not covet." ... 10 The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me. 11 For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me. 12 So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. 13 Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin. 15 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. 16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. 17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. 22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, 23 but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.

[2Co 3:7, 9 ESV] 7 Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, ... 9 For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.

[Gal 3:10 ESV] 10 For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, "Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them."

[Rom 3:20 ESV] 20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

[Gal 3:19 ESV] 19 Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made, and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.

[Rom 3:24 ESV] 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

[Gal 3:22 ESV] 22 But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

[Rom 15:8 ESV] 8 For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God's truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs,

[Gen 17:18 ESV] 18 And Abraham said to God, "Oh that Ishmael might live before you!"

[Heb 11:19 ESV] 19 He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.

[Jhn 5:21 ESV] 21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.

[1Co 1:28 ESV] 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,

[Heb 11:3 ESV] 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

[Gen 15:5 ESV] 5 And he brought him outside and said, "Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."

[Heb 11:12 ESV] 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.

[Gen 17:17 ESV] 17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said to himself, "Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?"

[Gen 18:11, 14 ESV] 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years. The way of women had ceased to be with Sarah. ... 14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son."

[Rom 15:4 ESV] 4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

[1Co 9:9-10 ESV] 9 For it is written in the Law of Moses, "You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain." Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10 Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop.

[1Co 10:6, 11 ESV] 6 Now these things took place as examples for us, that we might not desire evil as they did. ... 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.

[2Ti 3:16-17 ESV] 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

[Psa 102:18 ESV] 18 Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD:

[Rom 10:9 ESV] 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

[1Pe 1:21 ESV] 21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

[Act 2:24 ESV] 24 God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.

[Rom 5:6, 8 ESV] 6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. ... 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

[Rom 8:32 ESV] 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

[Isa 53:5-6 ESV] 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned--every one--to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

[Mat 20:28 ESV] 28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

[Gal 1:4 ESV] 4 who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

[Rom 5:18 ESV] 18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.

[1Co 15:17 ESV] 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.
