They grasp bow and javelin.
They are cruel and show no mercy.
Their voice roars like the sea,
and they ride on horses,
lined up like men in battle formation
against you, Daughter Zion.
“They seize bow and spear;
They are cruel and inhuman and have no mercy.
Their voice sounds like the roaring sea;
They ride [in formation] on horses,
Arrayed as a man for battle
Against you, O Daughter of Zion (Jerusalem)!”
تُمْسِكُ الْقَوْسَ وَالرُّمْحَ. هِيَ قَاسِيَةٌ لاَ تَرْحَمُ. صَوْتُهَا كَالْبَحْرِ يَعِجُّ، وَعَلَى خَيْل تَرْكَبُ، مُصْطَفَّةً كَإِنْسَانٍ لِمُحَارَبَتِكِ يَا ابْنَةَ صِهْيَوْنَ».
