«تَكَلَّمُوا الآنَ فِي آذَانِ جَمِيعِ أَهْلِ شَكِيمَ. أَيُّمَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ: أَأَنْ يَتَسَلَّطَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَبْعُونَ رَجُلاً، جَمِيعُ بَنِي يَرُبَّعْلَ، أَمْ أَنْ يَتَسَلَّطَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلٌ وَاحِدٌ؟ وَاذْكُرُوا أَنِّي أَنَا عَظْمُكُمْ وَلَحْمُكُمْ».
