Then Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn[fn] is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.

“My heart exults in the LORD;
my horn is exalted in the LORD.
My mouth derides my enemies,
because I rejoice in your salvation.

my horn is lifted up by the LORD.

My mouth boasts over my enemies,

because I rejoice in your salvation.

“My heart exults in Yahweh;

My [fn]horn is exalted in Yahweh;

My mouth [fn]speaks boldly against my enemies,

Because I am glad in Your salvation.

Hannah prayed and said,

“My heart rejoices and triumphs in the LORD;

My horn (strength) is lifted up in the LORD,

My mouth has opened wide [to speak boldly] against my enemies,

Because I rejoice in Your salvation.

Hannah prayed, "My heart rejoices in the LORD; my horn is exalted high because of the LORD. I loudly denounce my enemies, for I am happy that you delivered me.

Hannah also prayed and said, "My heart exults in the LORD; my strength is exalted in the LORD. My mouth derides my enemies, because I rejoice in thy salvation.

فَصَلَّتْ حَنَّةُ وَقَالَتْ: «فَرِحَ قَلْبِي بِالرَّبِّ. ارْتَفَعَ قَرْنِي بِالرَّبِّ. اتَّسَعَ فَمِي عَلَى أَعْدَائِي، لأَنِّي قَدِ ابْتَهَجْتُ بِخَلاَصِكَ.

وَصَلَّتْ حَنَّةُ قَائِلَةً: «ابْتَهَجَ قَلْبِي بِالرَّبِّ وَسَمَتْ عِزَّتِي بِهِ. أَفْتَخِرُ عَلَى أَعْدَائِي لأَنِّي فَرِحْتُ بِخَلاصِكَ.

In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
