ثُمَّ قَالَ دَاوُدُ: «يَا رَبُّ إِلهَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، إِنَّ عَبْدَكَ قَدْ سَمِعَ بِأَنَّ شَاوُلَ يُحَاوِلُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ إِلَى قَعِيلَةَ لِكَيْ يُخْرِبَ الْمَدِينَةَ بِسَبَبِي.

ثُمَّ صَلَّى دَاوُدُ: «يَا رَبُّ إِلَهَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، إِنَّ عَبْدَكَ قَدْ سَمِعَ أَنَّ شَاوُلَ يُحَاوِلُ أَنْ يُحَاصِرَ قَعِيلَةَ لِيُدَمِّرَهَا
