فَأَجَابَ نَابَالُ عَبِيدَ دَاوُدَ وَقَالَ: «مَنْ هُوَ دَاوُدُ؟ وَمَنْ هُوَ ابْنُ يَسَّى؟ قَدْ كَثُرَ الْيَوْمَ الْعَبِيدُ الَّذِينَ يَقْحَصُونَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَمَامِ سَيِّدِهِ.

فَأَجَابَهُمْ نَابَالُ: «مَنْ هُوَ دَاوُدُ؟ وَمَنْ هُوَ ابْنُ يَسَّى؟ قَدْ كَثُرَ الْيَوْمَ الْعَبِيدُ الْهَارِبُونَ مِنْ أَسْيَادِهِمْ.
