Saul responded, “I have sinned. Come back, my son David, I will never harm you again because today you considered my life precious. I have been a fool! I’ve committed a grave error.”
Then Saul H7586 said H559, “I have sinned H2398. Return H7725, my son H1121 David H1732, for I will not harm H7489 you again H5750 since H8478 H834 my life H5315 was H3365 precious H3365 in your sight H5869 this H2088 day H3117. Behold H2009, I have played H5528 the H5528 fool H5528 and have made H7686 a H7686 very H3966 great H7235 mistake H7686.”
Then Saul H7586 said H559, “I have sinned H2398. Then Saul said, “I have sinned. Return, my son David, for I will not harm you again because my life was precious in your sight this day. Hear me, I have played the fool and have done a very great wrong [to you].”
فَقَالَ شَاوُلُ: «قَدْ أَخْطَأْتُ. اِرْجعْ يَا ابْنِي دَاوُدُ لأَنِّي لاَ أُسِيءُ إِلَيْكَ بَعْدُ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّ نَفْسِي كَانَتْ كَرِيمَةً فِي عَيْنَيْكَ الْيَوْمَ. هُوَذَا قَدْ حَمِقْتُ وَضَلَلْتُ كَثِيرًا جِدًّا».
In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
