فَلَمَّا جَاءَ حُوشَايُ إِلَى أَبْشَالُومَ، كَلَّمَهُ أَبْشَالُومُ قَائِلاً: «بِمِثْلِ هذَا الْكَلاَمِ تَكَلَّمَ أَخِيتُوفَلُ. أَنَعْمَلُ حَسَبَ كَلاَمِهِ أَمْ لاَ؟ تَكَلَّمْ أَنْتَ».

فَلَمَّا أَقْبَلَ حُوشَايُ أَطْلَعَهُ أَبْشَالُومُ عَلَى رَأْيِ أَخِيتُوفَلَ ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ: «أَنَعْمَلُ بِرَأْيِهِ أَمْ لا؟ تَكَلَّمْ أَنْتَ».
