As the ark of the LORD was entering the city of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, and she despised him in her heart.
Then it happened H1961, as the ark H727 of the LORD H3068 was coming H935 into the city H5892 of David H1732, that Michal H4324 the daughter H1323 of Saul H7586 looked H8259 down H8259 through H1157 the window H2474 and saw H7200 King H4428 David H1732 leaping H6339 and dancing H3769 before H6440 the LORD H3068; and she was H959 contemptuous H959 of him in her heart H3820.

وَلَمَّا دَخَلَ تَابُوتُ الرَّبِّ مَدِينَةَ دَاوُدَ، أَشْرَفَتْ مِيكَالُ بِنْتُ شَاوُلَ مِنَ الْكُوَّةِ وَرَأَتِ الْمَلِكَ دَاوُدَ يَطْفُرُ وَيَرْقُصُ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ، فَاحْتَقَرَتْهُ فِي قَلْبِهَا.
In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
