NASB95 (Narrated)
As he approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses became enraged and threw the tablets out of his hands, smashing them at the base of the mountain.
And it came H1961 about H1961, as H834 soon H834 as H834 [fn]Moses approached H7126 the camp H4264, that he saw H7200 the calf H5695 and the people dancing H4246; and Moses’ H4872 anger H639 burned H2734, and he threw H7993 the tablets H3871 from his hands H3027 and shattered H7665 them to H7665 pieces H7665 [fn]at H8478 the H8478 foot H8478 of H8478 the mountain H2022.
Now it happened H1961, as soon H834 as [fn]Moses came H7126 near H7126 the camp H4264, that he saw H7200 the calf H5695 and the dancing H4246; and Moses’ H4872 anger H639 burned H2734, and he threw H7993 the tablets H3871 from his hands H3027 and shattered H7665 them [fn]at H8478 the H8478 foot H8478 of H8478 the mountain H2022.
وَكَانَ عِنْدَمَا اقْتَرَبَ إِلَى الْمَحَلَّةِ أَنَّهُ أَبْصَرَ الْعِجْلَ وَالرَّقْصَ، فَحَمِيَ غَضَبُ مُوسَى، وَطَرَحَ اللَّوْحَيْنِ مِنْ يَدَيْهِ وَكَسَّرَهُمَا فِي أَسْفَلِ الْجَبَلِ.
In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
