NASB95 (Narrated)
Then the men H376 arose H6965 and went H1980, and Joshua H3091 commanded H6680 those who went H1980 to write H3789 a description of the land H776, saying H559, “Go H1980 and walk H1980 through the land H776 and write H3789 a description of it, and return H7725 to me; then I will cast H7993 lots H1486 for you here H6311 before H6440 the LORD H3068 in Shiloh H7887.”
Then the men H376 arose H6965 and went H1980, and Joshua H3091 commanded H6680 those who went H1980 to write H3789 the description of the land H776, saying H559, “Go H1980 and walk H1980 through the land H776 and write H3789 a description of it, and return H7725 to me; then I will cast H7993 lots H1486 for you here H6311 before H6440 Yahweh H3068 in Shiloh H7887.”
So the men arose and went [on their way], and Joshua commanded those who went to describe the land, saying, “Go and walk throughout the land and describe it, and return to me; and I will cast lots for you here before the LORD in Shiloh.”
In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
