‘And any H376 man H376 from the house H1004 of Israel H3478, or from the sojourners H1616 who sojourn H1481 among H8432 them, who H834 eats H398 any H3605 blood H1818, I will set H5414 My face H6440 against that person H5315 who eats H398 blood H1818 and will cut H3772 him off H3772 from among H7130 his people H5971.
‘Any man from the house of Israel, or any stranger living temporarily among you, who eats any blood, against that person I shall set My face and I will cut him off from his people [excluding him from the atonement made for them].
وَكُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ مِنْ بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَمِنَ الْغُرَبَاءِ النَّازِلِينَ فِي وَسَطِكُمْ يَأْكُلُ دَمًا، أَجْعَلُ وَجْهِي ضِدَّ النَّفْسِ الآكِلَةِ الدَّمَِ وَأَقْطَعُهَا مِنْ شَعْبِهَا،
In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
