“Since the life of every creature is its blood, I have told the Israelites: You are not to eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; whoever eats it must be cut off.
“For as for the [fn]life H5315 of all H3605 flesh H1320, its blood H1818 is identified with its [fn]life H5315. Therefore I said H559 to the sons H1121 of Israel H3478, ‘You are not to eat H398 the blood H1818 of any H3605 flesh H1320, for the [fn]life H5315 of all H3605 flesh H1320 is its blood H1818; whoever H3605 eats H398 it shall be cut H3772 off H3772.’

لأَنَّ نَفْسَ كُلِّ جَسَدٍ دَمُهُ هُوَ بِنَفْسِهِ، فَقُلْتُ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ: لاَ تَأْكُلُوا دَمَ جَسَدٍ مَا، لأَنَّ نَفْسَ كُلِّ جَسَدٍ هِيَ دَمُهُ. كُلُّ مَنْ أَكَلَهُ يُقْطَعُ.
In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
