Moses, Aaron, and the entire Israelite community did this to the Levites. The Israelites did everything to them the LORD commanded Moses regarding the Levites.
So this is what Moses H4872, Aaron H175, and all H3605 the congregation H5712 of the sons H1121 of Israel H3478 did H6213 to the Levites H3881; according to everything H3605 that the LORD H3068 had commanded H6680 Moses H4872 regarding the Levites H3881, so H3651 the sons H1121 of Israel H3478 did H6213 to them.
Thus Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did [these things] to the Levites; in accordance with all that the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the Israelites did to them.
فَفَعَلَ مُوسَى وَهَارُونُ وَكُلُّ جَمَاعَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لِلاَّوِيِّينَ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا أَمَرَ الرَّبُّ مُوسَى عَنِ اللاَّوِيِّينَ. هكَذَا فَعَلَ لَهُمْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ.
In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
