وَمَدَّ دَاوُدُ يَدَهُ إِلَى الْكِنْفِ وَأَخَذَ مِنْهُ حَجَرًا وَرَمَاهُ بِالْمِقْلاَعِ، وَضَرَبَ الْفِلِسْطِينِيَّ فِي جِبْهَتِهِ، فَارْتَزَّ الْحَجَرُ فِي جِبْهَتِهِ، وَسَقَطَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ.

وَمَدَّ يَدَهُ إِلَى الْجِرَابِ، وَتَنَاوَلَ حَجَراً لَوَّحَ بِهِ بِمِقْلاعِهِ وَرَمَاهُ، فَأَصَابَ جَبْهَةَ الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّ، فَغَاصَ الْحَجَرُ فِي جَبْهَتِهِ وَسَقَطَ جُلْيَاتُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ.
