Eli’s daughter-in-law, the wife of Phinehas, was pregnant and about to give birth. When she heard the news about the capture of God’s ark and the deaths of her father-in-law and her husband, she collapsed and gave birth because her labor pains came on her.
Now his daughter-in-law H3618, Phinehas’ H6372 wife H802, was pregnant H2030 and about to give H3205 birth H3205; and when she heard H8085 the news H8052 that the ark H727 of God H430 had been taken H3947 and that her father-in-law H2524 and her husband H376 had died H4191, she kneeled H3766 down H3766 and gave H3205 birth H3205, because H3588 her pains H6735 came H2015 upon her.

Now his daughter-in-law, Phinehas’ wife, was pregnant, and was about to give birth; so when she heard the news that the ark of God had been taken and that her father-in-law and her husband had died, she kneeled down and gave birth, because her [labor] pains began.
وَكَنَّتُهُ امْرَأَةُ فِينَحَاسَ كَانَتْ حُبْلَى تَكَادُ تَلِدُ. فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ خَبَرَ أَخْذِ تَابُوتِ اللهِ وَمَوْتَ حَمِيهَا وَرَجُلِهَا، رَكَعَتْ وَوَلَدَتْ، لأَنَّ مَخَاضَهَا انْقَلَبَ عَلَيْهَا.
