وَكَانَ أَبْشَالُومُ قَدْ أَخَذَ وَأَقَامَ لِنَفْسِهِ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ النَّصَبَ الَّذِي فِي وَادِي الْمَلِكِ، لأَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَيْسَ لِيَ ابْنٌ لأَجْلِ تَذْكِيرِ اسْمِي». وَدَعَا النَّصَبَ بِاسْمِهِ، وَهُوَ يُدْعَى «يَدَ أَبْشَالُومَ» إِلَى هذَا الْيَوْمِ.
