وَجَاءَ إِلَى صِيَرِ الْغَنَمِ الَّتِي فِي الطَّرِيقِ. وَكَانَ هُنَاكَ كَهْفٌ فَدَخَلَ شَاوُلُ لِكَيْ يُغَطِّيَ رِجْلَيْهِ، وَدَاوُدُ وَرِجَالُهُ كَانُوا جُلُوسًا فِي مَغَابِنِ الْكَهْفِ.

وَدَخَلَ شَاوُلُ كَهْفاً عِنْدَ حَظِيرَةِ غَنَمٍ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ لِيَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ، وَكَانَ دَاوُدُ وَرِجَالُهُ مُخْتَبِئِينَ فِي أَغْوَارِ الْكَهْفِ.

(LXX 24:4) And he came to the flocks of sheep that were by the way, and there was a cave there; and Saul went in to make preparation, and David and his men were sitting in the inner part of the cave.
