At that time Manasseh failed to take possession of Beth-shean and Taanach and their surrounding villages, or the residents of Dor, Ibleam, and Megiddo and their surrounding villages; the Canaanites were determined to stay in this land.
But Manasseh H4519 did not take H3423 possession H3423 of Beth-shean H1052 and its villages H1323, or Taanach H8590 and its villages H1323, or the inhabitants H3427 of Dor H1756 and its villages H1323, or the inhabitants H3427 of Ibleam H2991 and its villages H1323, or the inhabitants H3427 of Megiddo H4023 and its villages H1323; so the Canaanites H3669 persisted H2974 in living H3427 in this H2088 land H776.
But Manasseh H4519 did not take H3423 possession H3423 of Beth-shean H1052 and its towns H1323 or Taanach H8590 and its towns H1323 or the inhabitants H3427 of Dor H1756 and its towns H1323 or the inhabitants H3427 of Ibleam H2991 and its towns H1323 or the inhabitants H3427 of Megiddo H4023 and its towns H1323; so the Canaanites H3669 persisted H2974 to live H3427 in that land H776.
But [the tribe of] Manasseh did not take possession of Beth-shean and its villages, or Taanach and its villages, or the inhabitants of Dor and its villages, or the inhabitants of Ibleam and its villages, or the inhabitants of Megiddo and its villages; so the Canaanites remained in that land.
