وَلكِنَّ قَائِدَ الْمِئَةِ، إِذْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخَلِّصَ بُولُسَ، مَنَعَهُمْ مِنْ هذَا الرَّأْيِ، وَأَمَرَ أَنَّ الْقَادِرِينَ عَلَى السِّبَاحَةِ يَرْمُونَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ أَوَّلاً فَيَخْرُجُونَ إِلَى الْبَرِّ،
