David spoke to the men who were standing with him: “What will be done for the man who kills that Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Just who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God? ”
Then David H1732 said H559 to the men H376 who were standing H5975 by him, “What H4100 will be done H6213 for the man H376 who H834 kills H5221 this H1975 Philistine H6430 and rids H5493 Israel H3478 of the disgrace H2781? For who H4310 is this H2088 uncircumcised H6189 Philistine H6430, that he has dared to defy H2778 the armies H4634 of the living H2416 God H430?”
Then David H1732 spoke H559 to the men H376 who were standing H5975 by him, saying H559, “What H4100 will be done H6213 for the man H376 who H834 strikes H5221 down H5221 this H1975 Philistine H6430 and takes H5493 away H5493 the reproach H2781 from Israel H3478? For who H4310 is this H2088 uncircumcised H6189 Philistine H6430, that he should [fn]reproach H2778 the battle H4634 lines H4634 of the living H2416 God H430?”
Then David spoke to the men who were standing by him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes the disgrace [of his taunting] from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he has taunted and defied the armies of the living God?”
فَكَلَّمَ دَاوُدُ الرِّجَالَ الْوَاقِفِينَ مَعَهُ قَائِلاً: «مَاذَا يُفْعَلُ لِلرَّجُلِ الَّذِي يَقْتُلُ ذلِكَ الْفِلِسْطِينِيَّ، وَيُزِيلُ الْعَارَ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ؟ لأَنَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ هذَا الْفِلِسْطِينِيُّ الأَغْلَفُ حَتَّى يُعَيِّرَ صُفُوفَ اللهِ الْحَيِّ؟»
