וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא תוּכַל לִרְאֹת אֶת־פָּנָי כִּי לֹא־יִרְאַנִי הָאָדָם וָחָי׃

καὶ εἶπεν οὐ δυνήσῃ ἰδεῖν μου τὸ πρόσωπον οὐ γὰρ μὴ ἴδῃ ἄνθρωπος τὸ πρόσωπόν μου καὶ ζήσεται

وَقَالَ: «لاَ تَقْدِرُ أَنْ تَرَى وَجْهِي، لأَنَّ الإِنْسَانَ لاَ يَرَانِي وَيَعِيشُ».

وَأَضَافَ: «وَلَكِنَّكَ لَنْ تَرَى وَجْهِي، لأَنَّ الإِنْسَانَ الَّذِي يَرَانِي لَا يَعِيشُ».

And God said, Thou shalt not be able to see my face; for no man shall see my face, and live.
