Delilah said to Samson, “Until now you have mocked me and told me lies. Tell me what you may be bound with.” And he said to her, “If you weave the seven locks of my head into the web of the loom”—

Then Delilah said, “You’ve been making fun of me and telling me lies! Now tell me how you can be tied up securely.”
Samson replied, “If you were to weave the seven braids of my hair into the fabric on your loom and tighten it with the loom shuttle, I would become as weak as anyone else.”
So while he slept, Delilah wove the seven braids of his hair into the fabric.

Delilah then said to Samson, “All this time you have been making a fool of me and lying to me. Tell me how you can be tied.” He replied, “If you weave the seven braids of my head into the fabric on the loom and tighten it with the pin, I’ll become as weak as any other man.” So while he was sleeping, Delilah took the seven braids of his head, wove them into the fabric

καὶ εἶπεν Δαλιλα πρὸς Σαμψων ἕως νῦν παρελογίσω με καὶ ἐλάλησας πρός με ψευδῆ ἀνάγγειλον δή μοι ἐν τίνι δεθήσῃ καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτήν ἐὰν ὑφάνῃς τὰς ἑπτὰ σειρὰς τῆς κεφαλῆς μου μετὰ τοῦ διάσματος καὶ ἐγκρούσῃς ἐν τῷ πασσάλῳ εἰς τὸν τοῖχον καὶ ἔσομαι ἀσθενὴς ὡς εἷς τῶν ἀνθρώπων

فَقَالَتْ دَلِيلَةُ لِشَمْشُونَ: «حَتَّى الآنَ خَتَلْتَنِي وَكَلَّمْتَنِي بِالْكَذِبِ، فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِمَاذَا تُوثَقُ؟». فَقَالَ لَهَا: «إِذَا ضَفَرْتِ سَبْعَ خُصَلِ رَأْسِي مَعَ السَّدَى»

فَقَالَتْ دَلِيلَةُ لِشَمْشُونَ: «أَنْتَ مَازِلْتَ تَكْذِبُ عَلَيَّ وَتَخْدَعُنِي، فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِمَاذَا تُوْثَقُ؟» فَأَجَابَهَا: «إِنْ ضَفَرْتِ خُصْلاتِ شَعْرِي السَّبْعَ بِمِغْزَلٍ وَثَبَّتِّهَا بِوَتَدٍ، فَإِنَّنِي أُصْبِحُ ضَعِيفاً كَأَيِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ». وَبَيْنَمَا كَانَ يَغِطُّ فِي نَوْمٍ عَمِيقٍ ضَفَرَتْ دَلِيلَةُ خُصْلاتِ شَعْرِهِ السَّبْعَ بِمِغْزَلٍ.

Entonces Dalila dijo a Sansón: --Hasta ahora te has burlado de mí y me has dicho mentiras. Dime, pues, con qué podrías ser atado. Él entonces le dijo: --Si tejes los siete mechones de mi cabellera entre la urdimbre, y los aseguras con la clavija del telar contra la pared, me debilitaré y seré como un hombre cualquiera. Dalila lo hizo dormir y tejió los siete mechones de su cabellera entre la urdimbre.
