“If your brother becomes destitute and sells part of his property, his nearest relative may come and redeem what his brother has sold.
‘If a fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor he has to sell some of his property, then his nearest relative is to come and buy back (redeem) what his relative has sold.
إِذَا افْتَقَرَ أَخُوكَ فَبَاعَ مِنْ مُلْكِهِ، يَأْتِي وَلِيُّهُ الأَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ وَيَفُكُّ مَبِيعَ أَخِيهِ.
