“You are to hold a sacred assembly on the fifteenth day of the seventh month; you do not do any daily work. You are to celebrate a seven-day festival for the LORD.
‘Then on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy [summoned] assembly; you shall do no laborious work, and you shall observe a Feast [of Booths] to the LORD for seven days.
«وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الْخَامِسَ عَشَرَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ السَّابعِ، يَكُونُ لَكُمْ مَحْفَلٌ مُقَدَّسٌ. عَمَلاً مَا مِنَ الشُّغْلِ لاَ تَعْمَلُوا. وَتُعَيِّدُونَ عِيدًا لِلرَّبِّ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ.
