1 Samuel 22:17 - وَأَمَرَ الْمَلِكُ حُرَّاسَهُ الْمَاثِلِينَ لَدَيْهِ: «هَيَّا أَحِيطُوا بِكَهَنَةِ الرَّبِّ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ، لأَنَّهُمْ أَيْضاً قَدْ تَحَالَفُوا مَعَ دَاوُدَ، وَلأَنَّهُمْ عَرَفُوا أَنَّهُ كَانَ هَارِباً فَلَمْ يُخْبِرُونِي». فَلَمْ يَرْضَ حُرَّاسُ الْمَلِكِ أَنْ يَقْتُلُوا كَهَنَةَ الرَّبِّ.
