NASB95 (Narrated)
Saul said, “Let’s go down after the Philistines tonight and plunder them until morning. Don’t let even one remain! ”
“Do whatever you want,” the troops replied.
But the priest said, “Let’s approach God here.”
Then Saul H7586 said H559, “Let’s go H3381 down H3381 after H310 the Philistines H6430 by night H3915 and take H962 plunder H962 among them until H5704 the morning H1242 light H216, and let’s not leave H7604 a man H376 among them alive H7604.” And they said H559, “Do H6213 whatever H3605 seems good H2896 [fn]to you.” So the priest H3548 said H559, “Let’s approach H7126 God H430 here H1988.”
Then Saul H7586 said H559, “Let us go H3381 down H3381 after H310 the Philistines H6430 by night H3915 and take H962 spoil H962 among them until H5704 the morning H1242 light H216, and let us not leave H7604 a man H376 of them.” And they said H559, “Do H6213 whatever H3605 seems good H2896 in your eyes H5869.” So the priest H3548 said H559, “Let us draw H7126 near H7126 to God H430 here H1988.”
Then Saul said, “Let us go down after the Philistines by night and plunder them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them [alive].” They said, “Do whatever seems good to you.” Then the priest said, “Let us approach God here.”
