Saul responded, “I have sinned. Come back, my son David, I will never harm you again because today you considered my life precious. I have been a fool! I’ve committed a grave error.”

Return H7725, my son H1121 David H1732, for I will not harm H7489 you again H5750 since H8478 H834 my life H5315 was H3365 precious H3365 in your sight H5869 this H2088 day H3117. Behold H2009, I have played H5528 the H5528 fool H5528 and have made H7686 a H7686 very H3966 great H7235 mistake H7686.”
Then Saul H7586 said H559, “I have sinned H2398. Then Saul said, “I have sinned. Return, my son David, for I will not harm you again because my life was precious in your sight this day. Hear me, I have played the fool and have done a very great wrong [to you].”
فَقَالَ شَاوُلُ: «قَدْ أَخْطَأْتُ. اِرْجعْ يَا ابْنِي دَاوُدُ لأَنِّي لاَ أُسِيءُ إِلَيْكَ بَعْدُ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّ نَفْسِي كَانَتْ كَرِيمَةً فِي عَيْنَيْكَ الْيَوْمَ. هُوَذَا قَدْ حَمِقْتُ وَضَلَلْتُ كَثِيرًا جِدًّا».
