وَإِذَا انْحَازَ إِلَى مَدِينَةٍ، يَحْمِلُ جَمِيعُ إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى تِلْكَ الْمَدِينَةِ حِبَالاً، فَنَجُرُّهَا إِلَى الْوَادِي حَتَّى لاَ تَبْقَى هُنَاكَ وَلاَ حَصَاةٌ».

وَإذَا لَجَأَ إِلَى مَدِينَةٍ يُحَاصِرُ جَمِيعُ إِسْرَائِيلَ تِلْكَ الْمَدِينَةَ، وَيَجُرُّونَهَا بِحِبَالٍ إِلَى الْوَادِي حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى لَهَا أَثَرٌ».
