وَأَتَى رِجَالُ يَهُوذَا وَمَسَحُوا هُنَاكَ دَاوُدَ مَلِكًا عَلَى بَيْتِ يَهُوذَا.

وَأَخْبَرُوا دَاوُدَ قَائِلِينَ: «إِنَّ رِجَالَ يَابِيشَ جِلْعَادَ هُمُ الَّذِينَ دَفَنُوا شَاوُلَ».
