فَأَخَذَهُ وَأَحْضَرَهُ إِلَى الأَمِيرِ وَقَالَ: «اسْتَدْعَانِي الأَسِيرُ بُولُسُ، وَطَلَبَ أَنْ أُحْضِرَ هذَا الشَّابَّ إِلَيْكَ، وَهُوَ عِنْدَهُ شَيْءٌ لِيَقُولَهُ لَكَ».

فَأَخَذَهُ إِلَى الْقَائِدِ وَقَالَ: «اسْتَدْعَانِي السَّجِينُ بُولُسُ وَطَلَبَ أَنْ أُحْضِرَ هَذَا الشَّابَّ إِلَيْكَ، لأَنَّ عِنْدَهُ أَمْراً هَامّاً يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْبِرَكَ بِهِ».
