قَائِلاً:«أَيُّهَا الرِّجَالُ، أَنَا أَرَى أَنَّ هذَا السَّفَرَ عَتِيدٌ أَنْ يَكُونَ بِضَرَرٍ وَخَسَارَةٍ كَثِيرَةٍ، لَيْسَ لِلشَّحْنِ وَالسَّفِينَةِ فَقَطْ، بَلْ لأَنْفُسِنَا أَيْضًا».
