So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations; and from David until the exile to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the exile to Babylon until the Messiah, fourteen generations.
So G3767 all G3956 the generations G1074 from Abraham G11 to David G1138 are fourteen G1180 generations G1074; from David G1138 to the deportation G3350 to Babylon G897, fourteen G1180 generations G1074; and from the deportation G3350 to Babylon G897 to the [fn]Messiah G5547, fourteen G1180 generations G1074.
Therefore G3767 all G3956 the generations G1074 from Abraham G11 to David G1138 are fourteen G1180 generations G1074; and from David G1138 to the deportation G3350 to Babylon G897, fourteen G1180 generations G1074; and from the deportation G3350 to Babylon G897 to [fn]the Christ G5547, fourteen G1180 generations G1074.
So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen; from David to the Babylonian deportation (exile), fourteen generations; and from the Babylonian deportation to the Messiah, fourteen generations.

The Textus Receptus (latin, "Received Text") is the Greek text originally compiled by Erasmus around 1516. Though the earliest work was prepared by Desiderius Erasmus, his work was later revised by Robert Estienne (or, Stephanus) and further revised by Theodore Beza. The text produced by each is substantially the same, aside from some minor variations. The Blue Letter Bible utilizes Stephanus' edition from 1550.
