His servants asked him, “Why have you done this? While the baby was alive, you fasted and wept, but when he died, you got up and ate food.”
Then his servants said to him, “What is this thing that you have done? While the child was alive you fasted and wept, but when the child died, you got up and ate food.”
فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبِيدُهُ: «مَا هذَا الأَمْرُ الَّذِي فَعَلْتَ؟ لَمَّا كَانَ الْوَلَدُ حَيًّا صُمْتَ وَبَكَيْتَ، وَلَمَّا مَاتَ الْوَلَدُ قُمْتَ وَأَكَلْتَ خُبْزًا».
