When the Arameans of Damascus came to assist King Hadadezer of Zobah, David struck down twenty-two thousand Aramean men.
فَجَاءَ أَرَامُ دِمَشْقَ لِنَجْدَةِ هَدَدَ عَزَرَ مَلِكِ صُوبَةَ، فَضَرَبَ دَاوُدُ مِنْ أَرَامَ اثْنَيْنَ وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفَ رَجُل.
