When the men of Israel on the other side of the valley and on the other side of the Jordan saw that Israel’s men had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned the cities and fled. So the Philistines came and settled in them.
Now when the people H376 of Israel H3478 who H834 were on the other H5676 side H5676 of the valley H6010, with those who H834 were beyond H5676 the Jordan H3383, saw H7200 that the men H376 of Israel H3478 had fled H5127 and that Saul H7586 and his sons H1121 were dead H4191, they abandoned H5800 the cities H5892 and fled H5127; then the Philistines H6430 came H935 and settled H3427 in them.
Then the men H376 of Israel H3478 who H834 were on the other H5676 side H5676 of the valley H6010, with those who H834 were beyond H5676 the Jordan H3383, saw H7200 that the men H376 of Israel H3478 had fled H5127 and that Saul H7586 and his sons H1121 were dead H4191. So they forsook H5800 the cities H5892 and fled H5127; and the Philistines H6430 came H935 and lived H3427 in them.
When the men of Israel who were on the other side of the valley [of Jezreel], and those who were beyond the Jordan, saw that the other men of Israel had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned the cities and fled; then the Philistines came and lived in them.
