هَا أَنَا أَقِفُ أَمَامَكَ هُنَاكَ عَلَى الصَّخْرَةِ فِي حُورِيبَ، فَتَضْرِبُ الصَّخْرَةَ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا مَاءٌ لِيَشْرَبَ الشَّعْبُ». فَفَعَلَ مُوسَى هكَذَا أَمَامَ عُيُونِ شُيُوخِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.
