وَلَمَّا جَاءَ، فَإِذَا عَالِي جَالِسٌ عَلَى كُرْسِيٍّ بِجَانِبِ الطَّرِيقِ يُرَاقِبُ، لأَنَّ قَلْبَهُ كَانَ مُضْطَرِبًا لأَجْلِ تَابُوتِ اللهِ. وَلَمَّا جَاءَ الرَّجُلُ لِيُخْبِرَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ صَرَخَتِ الْمَدِينَةُ كُلُّهَا.

وَكَانَ عَالِي حِينَذَاكَ جَالِساً عَلَى كُرْسِيٍّ إِلَى جِوَارِ الطَّريِقِ يُرَاقِبُ، لأَنَّ قَلْبَهُ كَانَ مُضْطَرِباً عَلَى مَصِيرِ تَابُوتِ اللهِ. وَمَا إِنْ دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ الْمَدِينَةَ وَأَذَاعَ النَّبَأَ حَتَّى ضَجَّتِ الْمَدِينَةُ كُلُّهَا بِالصُّرَاخِ.
