وَاذْكُرْ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ عَبْدًا فِي أَرْضِ مِصْرَ، فَأَخْرَجَكَ الرَّبُّ إِلهُكَ مِنْ هُنَاكَ بِيَدٍ شَدِيدَةٍ وَذِرَاعٍ مَمْدُودَةٍ. لأَجْلِ ذلِكَ أَوْصَاكَ الرَّبُّ إِلهُكَ أَنْ تَحْفَظَ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ.

وَتَذَكَّرْ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ عَبْداً فِي دِيَارِ مِصْرَ، فَأَطْلَقَكَ الرَّبُّ مِنْ هُنَاكَ بِقُدْرَةٍ فَائِقَةٍ وَقُوَّةٍ شَدِيدَةٍ، لِهَذَا أَوْصَاكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ أَنْ تَرْتَاحَ فِي يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ.
