"HOW GOD GIVES"
I. HOW MAN GIVES... 3 BASIC TYPES.
A. Those who are urged and properly impressed.
B. Those who desire and wait only to hear need.
C. Those who are looking for place to invest.
II. HOW GOD GIVES.
A. Some imagine He gives as first.
B. Others think as second.
C. Text reveals that third comes closest.
1. God has certain desires toward earth.
2. He wants to do for certain people.
3. He has chosen to use human vessels.
D. Every right thing you have ever prayed for, God has already planned to give to you. "Your Father knows what you have need of even before you ask."
III. HOW TO RECEIVE MORE FROM GOD.
A. Not necessarily by asking more.
1. Real purpose of prayer should be to get God's will done.
B. Get our hearts right before Him.
1. "Perfect" here does not mean sinless.
a. Singleness of heart.
b. Heart turned towards Him.
C. God wants to bless.

CONTENT DISCLAIMER:

The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
