I. OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE AND GOAL.
A. Five channels through which the Spirit moves.
1. Life
2. Voice - Limited to small perimeter
3. Service
4. Money - Encircled the globe
5. Prayer
B. Money stuff. Opposites meet.
1. Cruel exacting tyrant.
2. Faithful obedient servant.
3. Its effects where no high motives.
a. Ties hard knots.
b. Hattie Green
4. Where God's purposes first closest thing to omnipotence.
II. JESUS LAW USE OF MONEY.
A. This generation wise - eternal fools.
1. They live as this is all the grave the end.
B. Make to yourselves friends by means of money, which the unrighteous world reckons riches, that when it fails they may receive you.
1. Money not riches.
a. Neither is it unrighteous.
C. Exchange your money for coin that is current in Heaven.
1. This yellow stuff is used for paving stones.
2. "When it fails."
a. Money will fail.
b. "How much did He leave."
3. Wealthy man who died.
4. What we get and spend for self we loose. What we give for Jesus sake we exchange into heavenly coin. "Lay not up treasures on earth."
III. WHAT YOU GIVE WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU.
A. See Jesus first.
1. Someone comes up to you.
B. Lady we wanted to go as missionary.
C. Sacrifice hallows gift.
1. Little girl with crutches.
"THE GOLDEN CHANNEL OF SERVICE"
Intro: One of family of God is a disgrace. God trying to win back. His Son is His plan. We are to let others know. Five channels of service: Life, Voice, Service, Gold, Prayer. Strange affect it has on people. Contracting power.
I. JESUS' LAW FOR USE OF MONEY.
A. Own generation wise.
1. Eternal - fool
B. R.V. Make to yourselves friends by means of the mammon of unrighteousness that when it shall fail they shall receive you into eternal tabernacles.
1. Money not riches.
2. Exchange your money for the kind of coin that is current in the Kingdom of God.
3. Yellow stuff we call riches (paving stones).
4. Current coin of Heaven lives of men.
C. That when it fails.
1. Money will fail.
2. Wealthy man (how much did he leave?)
a. In other world a pauper.
D. Foreign exchange.
1. Suppose shopping in Munich or Berlin.
2. Man taking trip to another strange country.
a. Trying to take some possessions.
b. Hugging a farm, town lots, houses, engraved notes.
c. Stopped at gate "What is that stuff."
E. What we get and keep for sake of having we loose.
F. What we give for Jesus' sake.
II. GOLD EXCHANGED LIVES.
A. Our new form of money waiting on other side.
B. Man comes up (greeting and welcome.) "I don't recognize you, where did we meet?
C. Lady won to Christ by excellent personal worker.
III. SACRIFICE IN GIVING.
A. I can give $50.00 easily. Better pinch a bit and give $62.50.
B. Sacrifice hallows all it touches.
C. A minister and, sermon for funds.
