a. Rome famous for its triumphant marches.
1. Plebeians.
2. Marches of Rome all but forgotten.

II. THE TEARS OF THE KING.
A. On entry to city Mt. Olives - whole city comes into view.
B. Greek word for wept (sobbed-convulsive heaving...)
"The Son of God in tears, the wondering angels see, Be thou astonished O my
soul, He wept those tears for thee."
III. THE DAY OF THE KING.
A. Prior refusal to allow public praise.
1. Now the stones would cry out.

1. Hid from their eyes.
2. Blinded by power. Blinded by prejudice. Blinded by greed. Blinded by sin. AS A RESULT!
C. "They knew not the time of their visitation" Horrible possibility to be so concerned with self - we miss the Savior.
