Music: "Crediton," Thomas Clark, 1807
Father of peace, and God of love,
We own Thy pow'r to save,
That pow'r by which our Shepherd rose
Victorious o'er the grave.
Him from the dead Thou brought'st again,
When by His sacred blood,
Confirmed and sealed forevermore
Th'eternal cov'nant stood.
O may Thy Spirit seal our souls,
And mold them to Thy will,
That our weak hearts no more may stray,
But keep Thy cov'nant still.
That all we think and all we do
Be pleasing in Thy sight,
Through Jesus Christ, to Whom be praise
In endless glory bright.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
