And he said to him, “I will give you all these things if you will fall down and worship me.”[fn]

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound[fn] in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed[fn] in heaven.”

“He said to them, ‘You also go into my vineyard, and I'll give you whatever is right.' So off they went.

When Herodias's own daughter[fn] came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his guests. The king said to the girl, “Ask me whatever you want, and I'll give it to you.”

The devil said to him, “I will give you their splendor and all this authority, because it has been given over to me, and I can give it to anyone I want.

“for I will give you such words and a wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

“But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give him will become a well[fn] of water springing up in him for eternal life.”

“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread he will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

Jesus replied, “He's the one I give the piece of bread to after I have dipped it.” When he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas, Simon Iscariot's son.[fn]

“I will display wonders in the heaven above

and signs on the earth below:

blood and fire and a cloud of smoke.

“As to his raising him from the dead, never to return to decay, he has spoken in this way, I will give you the holy and sure promises of David.

“Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in[fn] the paradise of God.

“Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Look, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will experience affliction for ten days. Be faithful to the point of death, and I will give you the crown[fn] of life.

“Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give some of the hidden manna.[fn] I will also give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name is inscribed that no one knows except the one who receives it.

“I will strike her children dead.[fn] Then all the churches will know that I am the one who examines minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works.

The one who conquers and who keeps my works to the end: I will give him authority over the nations —

just as I have received this from my Father. I will also give him the morning star.

“To the one who conquers I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

“I will grant[fn] my two witnesses authority to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.”

Then he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give to the thirsty from the spring of the water of life.
