Then the LORD H3068 said H559 to Moses H4872, “Behold H2009, I will rain H4305 bread H3899 from heaven H8064 for you; and the people H5971 shall go H3318 out H3318 and gather H3950 a day's H3117 portion H1697 every day H3117, so H4616 that H4616 I may test H5254 them, whether or H518 not they will walk H1980 in My [fn]instruction H8451.
Then [fn]God said H559, “Behold H2009, I am going to make H3772 a covenant H1285. Then the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 to Aaron H175, “Now behold H2009, I Myself H589 have put H5414 you in charge H4931 of My [fn]offerings H8641, all H3605 the holy H6944 gifts of the sons H1121 of Israel H3478 I have given H5414 to you as a portion H4888 and to your sons H1121 as a permanent H5769 allotment H2706.

The Bride

Who H4310 is this H2088 who comes H935 from Edom H123,
With garments H899 of [fn]glowing H2556 colors H2556 from Bozrah H1224,
This H2088 One H2088 who is majestic H1921 in His apparel H3830,
[fn]Marching H6805 in the greatness H7230 of His strength H3581?
“It is I, the One who speaks H1696 in righteousness H6666, mighty H7227 to save H3467.”
For this H3541 is H3541 what H3541 the LORD H3068 says H559: “Behold H2009, I extend H5186 peace H7965 to her like a river H5104,
And the glory H3519 of the nations H1471 like an overflowing H7857 stream H5158;

But I was like a gentle H441 lamb H3532 led H2986 to the slaughter H2873;

And make H8248 them drink H8248 poisonous H7219 water H4325,
For from the prophets H5030 of Jerusalem H3389
Ungodliness H2613 has spread H3318 into all H3605 the land H776.'”
“And you shall say H559 to them, ‘This H3541 is H3541 what H3541 the LORD H3068 of armies H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478 says H559: “Drink H8354, be H7937 drunk H7937, vomit H7006, fall H5307 down, and do not get H6965 up H6965, because H4480 H6440 of the sword H2719 which H834 I am sending H7971 among H996 you.”'
‘This H3541 is H3541 what H3541 the LORD H3068 of armies H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478 says H559 concerning H413 Ahab H256 the son H1121 of Kolaiah H6964 and concerning H413 Zedekiah H6667 the son H1121 of Maaseiah H4641, who are prophesying H5012 to you falsely H8267 in My name H8034: “Behold H2009, I am going to hand H5414 H3027 them over H5414 to Nebuchadnezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894, and he will kill H5221 them before your eyes H5869.
“This H3541 is H3541 what H3541 the LORD H3068 says H559:
‘Behold H2009, I will restore H7725 the fortunes H7622 of the tents H168 of Jacob H3290

The pregnant H2030 woman H2030 and she who is in H3205 labor H3205, together H3162;
They will return H7725 here H2008 as a great H1419 assembly H6951.

“If H518 the heavens H8064 above H4480 H4605 can be measured H4058
And the foundations H4144 of the earth H776 searched H2713 out H2713 below H4295,
Then I will also H1571 reject H3988 all H3605 the descendants H2233 of Israel H3478
For everything H3605 that they have done H6213,” declares H5002 the LORD H3068.

“Behold H2009, I am going to bring H935 terror H6343 upon you,”
Declares H5002 the Lord H136 [fn]GOD H3068 of armies H6635,
“From all H3605 directions around H5439 you;
And you will be driven H5080 away H5080 [fn]one H376 after H6440 another,
With no H369 one H369 to gather H6908 the fugitives H5074 together.
“For behold H2009, I am going to rouse H5782 and bring H5927 up H5927 against H5921 Babylon H894
A contingent H6951 of great H1419 nations H1471 from the land H776 of the north H6828,

Their arrows H2671 will be like [fn]an expert H7919 warrior H1368

“Behold H2009, I am against H5921 you, Sidon H6721,

Then they will know H3045 that I am the LORD H3068, when I execute H6213 judgments H8201 against her,
“Behold H2009, I am against H5921 you, Pharaoh H6547 king H4428 of Egypt H4714,
The great H1419 [fn]monster H8577 that lies H7257 in the midst H8432 of his [fn]canals H2975,

By the hand H3027 of strangers H2114; I the LORD H3068 have spoken H1696.”
“Therefore H3651 say H559 to the house H1004 of Israel H3478, ‘This H3541 is H3541 what H3541 the Lord H136 GOD H3068 says H559: “It is not for your sake H4616, house H1004 of Israel H3478, that I am about to act H6213, but for My holy H6944 name H8034, which H834 you have profaned H2490 among the nations H1471 where H834 H8033 you went H935.
‘This H1836 is the dream H2493 that I, King H4430 Nebuchadnezzar H5020, have seen H2370. For His dominion H7985 is an everlasting H5957 dominion H7985,

One H259 part H2513 would be rained H4305 on,
While the part H2513 not rained H4305 on would dry H3001 up H3001.
The Lord H136 [fn]GOD H3068 has sworn H7650 by Himself H5315, the LORD H3068 God H430 of armies H6635 has declared H5002:
“I loathe H8374 the arrogance H1347 of Jacob H3290,
And [fn]detest H8130 his citadels H759;
Therefore I will give H5462 up H5462 the city H5892 and [fn]all H4393 it contains H4393.”
“Behold H2009 I am about to put H7760 a plumb H594 line H594
In the midst H7130 of My people H5971 Israel H3478.
I will not [fn]spare H5674 them any H5750 longer H3254 H5750.

Because H3588 I have had H7355 compassion H7355 on H7355 them;
And they will be as though H834 I had not rejected H2186 them,
For I am the LORD H3068 their God H430 and I will answer H6030 them.
“Behold H2009, I am sending H7971 My [fn]messenger H4397, and he will clear H6437 a way H1870 before H6440 Me. And the Lord H113, whom H834 you are seeking H1245, will suddenly H6597 come H935 to His temple H1964; [fn]and the [fn]messenger H4397 of the covenant H1285, in whom H834 you delight H2655, behold H2009, He is coming H935,” says H559 the LORD H3068 of armies H6635.
